With just one more sleep to go until Thursday night’s $100 million Powerball jackpot, players have been given some tips to boost their chances of winning it all.
Lotterywest revealed on Wednesday ‘slikpik’ tickets were the most popular ones among Division One winners in the past.
Some 53 Western Australian ticket holders have taken out a Division One prize worth a combined $166 million with more than 70 per cent coming from a ‘slikpik’ ticket.
An 18 game slikpik accounted for seven Division One winners, while 12 and 50 game slikpiks created six winners each.
Those who purchase the ticket will be given a group of random numbers that is picked out for them, after they pick a draw they want to enter.
A whopping $100 million is up for grabs in Thursday night’s Powerball Jackpot as punters gearing up for the mega draw have been urged to buy ‘slikpik’ tickets
Lotterywest says it’s a popular ticket to buy and gives players a good shot at picking out the winning numbers.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said players could purchase tickets with others as another great way to snare a bigger share of the winnings.
‘Whether you opt for a Slikpik or like to choose your numbers, our advice is to get your friends, family or work colleagues together and organise a syndicate,’ he said.
‘Not only can you share the cost of the ticket and include more games, but it’s more fun playing as a team and sharing in the joy if you win.’
