Channel Nine’s two-part controversial miniseries Warnie failed to win the primetime slot in the ratings when it debuted on Sunday night.
The show came in second place behind ‘s .
However, Warnie still relatively did well for Nine by attracting 528,000 viewers across the country, trailing ‘ 645,000.
Both had a firm lead over Ten’s The Project, which pulled in a meagre 297,0000 viewers.
The first half of Warnie covered his early life and meteoric rise to fame as a prodigious cricketer.
